Punishingly funny! I’m loving the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of your work (like the twistedness of the phone cord reflecting the twistedness of the ultimatum, and the broken line of that last word balloon echoing the threat’s breaking effect on Ellie)! Heck yeah PollyMorse! 😀
Thanks so much. I actually do like to put little details in hoping people would notice, but you give me too much credit here. The broken lines only mean he’s whispering. You’re seem smarter than I am, so I am so flattered you liked it!!
Maybe I seem that way, but I think I’m really not smarter than you. The intelligence, sharpness, and wisdom/lessons that you share (and that I never considered until reading your comics) in your writing and art make me think that. Hoping you continue your good work.
I still have that stuff! 😉
Reminds me of deconstructed food.
We might be better off if everyone did a digital or media fast once a month. Maybe Ellie will get a grip if the herd sets an example.
I like the idea of no tech for a day. I did that once when my kids were younger. It almost killed them at first, but by the evening we were all sitting around building a big lego house together. It was nice. Short lived. They scoffed when I mentioned doing it again.
20th century technology! I remember using it, except maybe the typewriter (I think?) in front of Cooper. Poor Ellie, having to use a radio instead of Spotify and a rotary phone, lol!

Ooh. The days before the 24-hour news cycle. We didn’t know everything about everybody. We didn’t realize how peaceful it was.

Yep, that’s a typewriter. I do like the clackity clack sound they make though!!
